TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM: Alliston, Ontario

Located in the heart of Alliston, Ontario, the TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM offers a range of banking services. However, customer experiences at this location vary greatly, with some praising the accessibility features, while others express concerns about service quality.

Accessibility Features

The TD Canada Trust branch prioritizes accessibility for all customers. It features a wheelchair-accessible car park, making it easier for individuals with mobility challenges to access the facilities. This commitment to accessibility is crucial, especially in a growing community like Alliston, where more people may require these services.

Customer Experiences: A Mixed Bag

Many customers have shared their experiences, highlighting both exceptional service and significant shortcomings:

  • Positive Experiences: Several patrons have commended staff members like Ashley, Sunny, and Michael for their attentive and kind service. One customer noted, "The young man who helped me was so pleasant," showcasing the personal care some employees provide.
  • Negative Experiences: Unfortunately, numerous reviews point to a lack of customer service training among certain staff. Complaints about rudeness and poor treatment by tellers, such as an incident with a teller named Daisy, illustrate the inconsistency in service quality. A customer remarked on feeling "uncomfortable" due to the attitude of staff members.

Concerns About Staff and Management

Several customers have expressed frustration with the management at the Alliston TD branch. Comments suggest a need for improvement in customer service training, particularly for front-line staff. One review pointedly stated: "Absolutely no customer service skills by anyone working at this branch," indicating a systemic issue that could benefit from focused training initiatives.

Conclusion

While the TD Canada Trust branch in Alliston, Ontario, offers essential banking services and a wheelchair-accessible car park, customer feedback reveals a pressing need for improved service consistency. As the community continues to grow, addressing these concerns will be vital in maintaining a positive reputation and ensuring all customers feel valued and respected.

Quite slow, rather dreadful customer service. They seem to prefer chatting among themselves rather than assisting the customers. If you happen to choose this bank, ensure you're not in a hurry.
Abigail Kim (2025-05-10, 6:24 p.m.):
Absurdly poor service, I must say!
Judith Reyes (2025-05-06, 6:46 p.m.):
Lovely folks to work with at the Alliston branch!
Andrea Young (2025-05-06, 6:36 a.m.):
Bloody hell. They bounce a cheque on a live and active account with adequate funds. Then take no responsibility for the mistake or correct the transaction with other banks. The Alliston TD must be among the worst banks to work with and I wouldn't recommend accepting any cheques written by members of this branch.
Keith Cruz (2025-05-05, 2:46 p.m.):
Never 'ad an issue, very friendly.
Abigail Graham (2025-05-02, 5:32 a.m.):
The last 3 times I've been to the bank, I've been quite disappointed, I must say. Michelle accused me of bringing in a fraudulent cheque. They allowed people to stand in line without wearing masks, and with a line of 13 folks, they only had one teller available. To top it off, I waited a whopping 37 minutes in line. I've never encountered such a blatant disregard for customers at any other TD branch I've visited.
Barbara Gomez (2025-05-02, 2:57 a.m.):
The elderly short lady with the black hair is dreadful, I must say.
Jose Thompson (2025-05-01, 1:13 a.m.):
Top-notch customer service and a huge shoutout to Ashley for her efficient handling of things.
Brenda Rogers (2025-04-30, 6:08 a.m.):
I 'ad a right grand time at TD in Alliston. This be me second brilliant experience. Ashley and Sunny were a great help, they went the extra mile to sort out me banking needs and special requests. Cheers for bein' so helpful, kind and providin' top-notch client care.
Sarah Ramirez (2025-04-26, 6:35 p.m.):
I rang up earlier today to schedule an appointment to chat about setting up a new account. They penciled me in for 2pm with Michael. Later, I received an email stating the appointment was at 7pm with Michael. Perplexed, I called back to inquire, and the person on the line mentioned an appointment at 2pm with David. Confusion reigned, and I'm not keen on entrusting my funds to such individuals. I shall take the drive to a neighboring town instead.

Update: Just received another call from TD even post cancelling the appointment, seems they believe I'm still down for the same schedule. Steering clear of this TD branch entirely. My money and financial guidance shall find a home elsewhere!
Evelyn Rivera (2025-04-26, 12:45 p.m.):
I just had a chat with Travis (financial advisor) regarding the possibility of obtaining a HELOC. The friendliness and honesty he provided me with were beyond belief. He was extremely on point, knowledgeable, and very empathetic to my concerns. Thank you so much, Travis!
Sarah Cook (2025-04-24, 3:19 a.m.):
Recently refurbished branch with extremely friendly customer service.
Bradley Stewart (2025-04-23, 1:11 a.m.):
Someone by the name of Travis gave me a call regarding a "marketing lead" for an account I had recently been added to, due to a medical emergency, instead of reaching out to the individual who has clearly been the primary account holder for numerous years. Furthermore, this account is not even associated with this particular branch, but rather with a branch that is more than an hour's drive away. This behavior strikes me as underhanded and unprofessional.

Update (June 2024): Five months have passed, and I am once again receiving calls on both my landline and my previous cell number (which is now used by my husband) regarding banking with TD for this account. The employee claimed that there was "no indication in my file that I did not wish to be contacted" and proceeded to request my new number from my husband despite him explicitly instructing them to cease calling us. There appears to be some serious issues with this branch - both its so-called "managers" and staff members. The ratings and reviews paint a clear picture. Avoid at all costs.
Noah Garcia (2025-04-22, 9:38 p.m.):
Inadequately managed. The staff is rather sluggish and overly focused on customer interactions. They have made an effort on a few occasions, but too infrequently.
Patrick Martin (2025-04-22, 1:08 p.m.):
Absolutely dreadful service! I've been trying for over three weeks to secure a straightforward refinance, but I can't comprehend the individual I'm interacting with. My mortgage is due next year, and I'll definitely be taking my business elsewhere.
Lisa Ross (2025-04-20, 5:31 p.m.):
Great location and layout compared to other banks nearby, and the staff is very friendly.
Robert Graham (2025-04-18, 12:27 p.m.):
Oh dear, I am never going to bad sivers.
Emily Young (2025-04-18, 10:37 a.m.):
Just been turned away after a 20-minute wait in line, due to a delayed opening, because it was seniors' hour (I'm 55), but they allowed a younger lady who was right behind me to enter. The TD Lady informed me that it would be a few minutes while I was at the front of the line, then returned 5 minutes later and informed me that I couldn't enter, so I departed. Best to steer clear of this branch.
Emma Gray (2025-04-12, 2:30 p.m.):
Service was a bit slow but the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, truly!
Lisa Johnson (2025-04-10, 2:33 a.m.):
Dreadful customer service. Seek assistance elsewhere.
