This lab is an absolute disgrace. My 10-year-old daughter went in for a blood test, and they completely mishandled the procedure, leaving her in tears and traumatized. Despite her young age, they repeatedly poked her arm without pausing, causing extreme discomfort. Her arm is now incredibly sore, and I am thoroughly disappointed in LifeLabs for their negligence. I regret not checking reviews beforehand before sending my husband and daughter there. The staff's suggestion of having her drink more water and return the next day is laughable - why didn't they admit they couldn't find a vein initially? This experience has been distressing and utterly unacceptable.
Jordan Foster (2025-05-04, 2:58 p.m.):
There were 3 people waiting in line, and all the receptionists were deep in a lengthy conversation about 5 different lunch spots. The staff seemed quite cold and unprofessional.
Jason Evans (2025-05-04, 2:44 p.m.):
I do comprehend that Covid has thrown everyone's lives into disarray. However, if you are going to schedule everyone for the same time slot, you should ensure that you have sufficient staff to manage the workload. Alternatively, you could include a warning on your website stating that there may be a one-hour wait for appointments scheduled within the hour. Due to your current booking system, I am now tardy for another appointment, causing that doctor to fall behind schedule. Respect is a two-way street - please respect our time as I sit here patiently waiting and fretting about the subsequent appointment I am delayed for.
Isabella Hayes (2025-05-04, 11:54 a.m.):
That older lady with the red curly hair is absolutely dreadful. She's terribly rude and impatient. Somebody ought to give her the old heave-ho.
Laura Nguyen (2025-05-01, 1:32 p.m.):
Plenty of parking available, easily accessible for walkers.
Christian Cruz (2025-04-30, 6:45 p.m.):
So incredibly busy. Quite a conundrum for society... haha, but beneficial for them. They are truly professional and the place is remarkably tidy. My blunder was not scheduling an appointment. For next time, register an account and book online; you can breeze in and out in just 10 minutes. I have faith in their expertise. My only qualm is that they experienced a database breach some time ago. I'm unsure if it was ever rectified. It might be worth investigating.
Grace Rivera (2025-04-30, 11:19 a.m.):
The staff 'round here are absolutely brilliant. They're helpful and always so pleasant to each client. I had Mookie take my blood, and she kindly helped me lay down. She was also incredibly gentle and had a delightful bedside manner - such a sweetheart. I would absolutely recommend coming here above anywhere else. Honestly, it was the best experience I've ever had getting my blood taken. And I usually faint! Keep up the fantastic work. You truly make a significant difference. Thank you 😊
Karen Powell (2025-04-30, 4:20 a.m.):
Terrible healthcare service provider. I can picture the gulags being run with akin customer service practices. Steer clear if you can to dodge the hassles.
Joe Barnes (2025-04-29, 2:05 a.m.):
This website claims to be open until 6:00 PM, but they actually close at 4:00 PM, which is quite misleading and terribly inconvenient for those of us who are working.
Alice Taylor (2025-04-28, 3:29 p.m.):
I 'ad made an appointment in advance (grateful I did because the waiting room was chock-a-block at 9am). But I was taken in right on time for my appointment. The lass who greeted me at the desk also did my blood tests. She was friendly and professional. Overall, a pleasant experience.
Roy Sanchez (2025-04-27, 1:35 p.m.):
I took my elderly gran (who's in her 80s) to the lab for her appointment, which we'd arranged in advance. Total waste of time – she ended up waiting for over an hour! Funny thing is, when I popped in last week near closing, I was seen in about 10 minutes. What's the point of making appointments if they don't stick to them? Beyond frustrating and a massive letdown. Lifelabs Alliston's service is a real letdown, no doubt about it.
Riley Davis (2025-04-27, 7:25 a.m.):
Extremely friendly, incredibly professional, and exceptionally prompt.
David Clark (2025-04-26, 12:31 p.m.):
Dreadful establishment. If you 'ave a wee one, steer clear of this place. Brought me one-year-old for blood work, and three o' 'em jabbed 'im five times. Every time they stuck the needle, they kept pokin' 'n movin' it around inside to find the vein, makin' 'im cry even more. That chunky older white lady, so miserable, she was terribly rude to us 'n rough with me little one. She 'ad a temper, puttin' a hot pack on me baby's arm too tight, full o' anger she was. They claim they 'ave training with small kids, but they're very incompetent. Most folks comin' 'ere are seniors 'n they're bein' yelled at. These staff in a healthcare settin' 'ave no compassion at all. Saw dreadful reviews 'ere but didn't take heed, now it's time for someone readin' this to make an extra trip 'n steer clear o' this place. 'opefully they improve, specially with their attitude.
Vincent Campbell (2025-04-24, 5:03 p.m.):
The majority of the staff at the LifeLabs location in Alliston are rather grumpy and unfriendly, I must say. If it were possible for me to switch to another location, I most certainly would. I've been coming here for my regular blood tests for 13 years now, and yet the same individuals on staff continue to treat me like a stranger. The newer staff member is friendly, thankfully, but the other one comes across as quite arrogant.
Martha Jenkins (2025-04-22, 6:11 a.m.):
I've visited this place a couple of times. The majority of the staff are friendly, except for one lady. I'm not sure what her name is, but every time I visit, she attempts to send me away by claiming she's unsure if she can draw my blood that day. She actually did this to me once when I was pregnant and had an appointment! It was a terrible experience with her, and she definitely needs some customer service training.
Julia Reyes (2025-04-18, 8:26 a.m.):
The staff at Lifelab are absolutely charming and hospitable, not to mention incredibly efficient and accommodating. They addressed all of my inquiries and the nurse who conducted my blood test was remarkably gentle, patient, and speedy. I have to return weekly and I must say, I am feeling quite reassured as this facility is well-prepared for COVID safety measures. A heartfelt thank you to the Lifelab team for ensuring my comfort. Looking forward to my next visit!
Gerald Reyes (2025-04-16, 2:59 p.m.):
Save your time mate, don't even bother booking an appointment with these blokes. They'll have you waiting around for ages. Proper disappointing, it is.
Rebecca Long (2025-04-15, 4:27 p.m.):
The staff is ever so friendly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Alexander Lewis (2025-04-15, 1:59 a.m.):
Oh, what a terribly chaotic experience! We found ourselves having to depart after enduring a 25-minute wait without progressing in the queue. A certain staff member named Susan emerged and displayed such rudeness towards individuals that we simply could not tolerate it. In my line of work in customer service, I can confidently say that I would swiftly lose my job if I engaged with customers in the manner she did. I highly recommend seeking out another laboratory for your testing needs; I am certain your encounter will be more favorable elsewhere.
