Just a couple of days back, my companions and I embarked on an unforgettable journey with Captain Bob at the helm. The weather couldn't have been more perfect as we set out on our boat tour. Within moments, Capt Bob skillfully led us to a pair of magnificent humpback whales, gracefully swimming and showcasing their tails in the glistening waters. As we ventured further, we were treated to the delightful sight of puffins, common turres, murres, black guillemot, and shearwaters along the rocky coastal cliffs. Our hearts soared as we spotted two majestic bald eagles soaring above us.
Our quest for more marine marvels led us to a solitary humpback whale breaching in the distance, putting on a show with impressive fin slapping for a breathtaking 10 minutes. The entire experience was simply enchanting, with the whales and seabirds weaving a spellbinding tapestry of nature's beauty. Well, let me tell you, going out on a zodiac is just the ticket for spotting an 80-foot tall iceberg and humpback whales. Bob really pulled out all the stops to lead us to that magnificent iceberg today, and as luck would have it, we also caught sight of 2 humpbacks - a mother and her calf! I could even hear the sound of their blowholes and smell the salty sea air...just unforgettable. Don't think twice, book with Bob - he's a top bloke!
