I recently contacted The Muse Cafe for a sudden catering request, and they truly exceeded my expectations! Not only did they manage to meet my tight deadline, but the food they provided was simply delightful and presented beautifully. My clients were thoroughly impressed, and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome 😀 I will definitely be turning to them for upcoming client gatherings and special occasions! Many thanks!

I popped in for a speedy lunch to take away, as I work close by this establishment. I opted for the grilled cheese - a solid 10 out of 10, unquestionably the finest grilled cheese I've ever savored! Rose, the epitome of kindness, graciously delivered my order to me once it was ready while I was at work. This place is a gem with exceptional customer service, and I will certainly return! There was a delightful young lady with curly red hair who also provided excellent customer care, though I regrettably missed her name... Many thanks indeed!

Lovely quaint café with outstanding coffee and delicious pastries/treats. The adjacent art gallery provided a charming respite on our journey to Algonquin.

The service was friendly and efficient. Sky took care of us. The raspberry crepes were absolutely delightful, bursting with flavor. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the margarita omelet, although he didn't realize it was vegetarian. Nonetheless, he loved it, and the owner kindly offered to add meat next time if we'd prefer. Such a thoughtful gesture! My husband opted for the Americana, which he found quite satisfying. We highly recommend this place; in addition to delicious food, they also showcase a charming selection of art pieces, jewelry, and other goods for sale. The regular customers are also really welcoming and pleasant to chat with.

I recently enjoyed a delightful bagel topped with a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg and delicious crispy bacon, all smothered in a special three-sauce spicy mayonnaise. I also indulged in "Manna's pancakes" with gooey melted cheese. This experience was truly unforgettable and I can't wait to try recreating these flavors once I return to Germany. Kudos to the lovely family-run establishment for providing such a wonderful dining experience. I could easily while away hours there, immersed in a good book or playing card games with friends. Thank you!

We were up north of Bancroft for a delightful 5-day getaway over the long weekend. We had the pleasure of visiting this charming café for a couple of days. They really went above and beyond! They graciously provided our children with coloring books to keep them occupied, the artwork on display was simply incredible, and let's not forget about the espresso - it put Starbucks to shame! Huge thanks to the lovely ladies running the place!

What a fantastic discovery! My family and I visited this charming cafe twice while staying in Bancroft, and we were thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was delightful, especially for the kids who were thrilled to find markers and crayons available for drawing. The Mr. Potato Head toy was a particular favorite with the little ones. The food and drinks were excellent, with my daughter raving about the nachos and my personal favorites being the iced coffee and Mocha. The service was top-notch, and we will definitely be making a stop here again on our frequent drives from Toronto to the Ottawa Valley.

Nicole Gutierrez (2025-06-03, 4:55 p.m.):
My partner and I spent a week near Bancroft and made it a point to visit this delightful cafe on four occasions. We have a deep appreciation for cappuccinos and were delighted to discover The Muse. It seems they are the sole establishment in the area capable of crafting a truly excellent one! The ambiance is adorned with original artwork and offers cozy seating arrangements. The staff exude warmth and hospitality. We took great pleasure in patronizing this local enterprise, especially during these challenging times of the pandemic when many businesses are facing hardships.
Amber Peterson (2025-06-02, 9:46 p.m.):
I just had to drop a line about my time at your coffee spot today.

Let me start by saying that the cold chai latte and the cheese and grilled veggies sandwich we got were absolutely scrumptious. The grub was top-notch, clearly made with love and attention to detail. I especially dug the mix of flavors, although I reckon offering a different cheese option for the sarnie could cater to various tastes.

The vibe in your cafe was spot-on too. The orderly stack of books and the coffee mugs with plant decorations added a lovely touch to the place, making it cozy and welcoming.

Even though we had to cut our visit short 'cause of your closing time, I wanted to shout out about how much I enjoyed it. Can't wait to swing by again and explore more of what you've got cooking.

Cheers for crafting such a charming space and serving up such tasty treats.

A cozy and inviting little nook! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, sipping coffee while I worked and read from the snug window seat!
Judith Torres (2025-06-01, 6:17 p.m.):
Oh my goodness, what a charming little coffee spot! We were absolutely tickled by the abundance of local treasures they had on offer. From regional honey, zesty hot sauces, pure maple syrup, and homemade relishes, to stunning local artwork. It was such a delight! The cozy atmosphere really made us feel at home, and imagine our surprise when we discovered three generations of the same family working there! They were all so warm and welcoming. The service was impeccable, thank you ever so much! We'll definitely make a point to stop by again next time we're passing through Bancroft. We heard they even have board games available! The seating area was quite comfortable and conveniently located just off the main road. And to top it off, they had oat milk and almond milk options, as well as gluten-free snacks. I opted for an oat matcha latte with a drizzle of their raw local honey, and it was simply perfect. My friend went for a regular latte and he raved about how delicious it was.
Barbara Lee (2025-06-01, 10:53 a.m.):
A hidden treasure in Bancroft, indeed! Recently acquired by new owners, this delightful café was a must-stop on our road trip - we simply couldn't allow it to shutter its doors. The coffee was exceptional, the service top-notch, and the quirky decor added to its charm. They also offer a tantalizing array of snacks. A visit here is truly a unique experience, definitely worth altering your route for... though if you're passing through Bancroft, you practically drive straight past it!

This place is really quaint, with a welcoming atmosphere and prices that are more than fair, especially compared to big cities like Toronto. The espresso drinks are top-notch and the ambiance is truly authentic.

This artsy cafe is truly a gem with its delicious coffee, cozy seating options, and unbeatable espresso that's worth traveling a hundred miles for. And to top it off, they were open on Thanksgiving Monday! I personally can't get enough of their savory potato soup, while my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her Panini made with rye bread, salami, and cheese. A must-visit spot for any coffee enthusiast!
Dennis Green (2025-05-30, 2:24 p.m.):
