I would rate it a 3 star for the amazing success tale. However, the chocolate is quite disappointing. It feels like having cold lard that refuses to melt smoothly. While I appreciate the narrative, the chocolate fell short of my expectations.

Just spotted at Sobeys in Ontario, this chocolate is a total game-changer! The 92g bars not only come at a better price point compared to Hershey & Cadbury, but they also offer a richer taste and superior quality ingredients. And let's not forget the unique blend of cashew & dark chocolate - absolutely heavenly!
While taste is my priority, I must highlight the stunning appearance of the chocolate itself. My personal favorite are the Forgiveness bars with their seashell-shaped chocolate. Overall, a fantastic find! Thrilled that they decided to set up shop in Canada and wishing them ongoing success.

I recently got a box of Peace chocolates as a Christmas gift. Let me tell you, they were not only delightful (the dark chocolate reminded me of the chocolates we used to get from Germany at Christmas) but I also appreciate that this present is helping a family start fresh in our country. Here's to wishing you all the best in your endeavors!

I recently purchased a variety pack of chocolates at Sobeys (160g for $12) and I must say, I was quite disappointed. The chocolates seemed to lack freshness and were surprisingly dry and hard, which really impacted the overall taste. In my opinion, it would be more worthwhile to invest in a selection of assorted Belgian, German, or Swiss chocolates, as not only will you get better quality, but you will also likely save some money in the process.

What a lovely little family-run business! They were so kind to offer us some free samples as soon as we walked in. The chocolate is absolutely scrumptious, and they have a wide variety to choose from. We were greeted with a warm hello and a friendly smile – overall, a delightful experience!
Edward Alexander (2025-05-28, 2:46 a.m.):
Oh my goodness... I ordered mine online and the box arrived in perfect condition. All the reviews were spot on about the unique flavors. I must say, I wholeheartedly agree. The flavors and textures of Peace by Chocolate products are top-notch. The human values woven into the creation of these chocolates are truly special. It was a pleasure to savor each piece from the "15 assorted chocolates" box. Five stars for this delightful product.

The tale of how this family introduced their chocolate making to Canada truly warmed my heart. Not only do I appreciate the idea of spreading love and peace through chocolate sales, but the chocolate itself is absolutely divine, melting in your mouth with each delightful bite!

Jason Phillips (2025-05-14, 2:23 a.m.):
One of the most delightful chocolates I've ever tasted! A pal from Antigonish kindly mailed me a divine dark chocolate and cashew bar adorned with a charming "Happy Birthday" packaging, and let me tell you, it was absolutely scrumptious. I'm already mapping out my October visit to Antigonish and eagerly looking forward to swinging by the shop in person to sample more of their delectable delights.
Margaret Thompson (2025-05-13, 8:37 a.m.):
This quaint little chocolate shop, run by a lovely couple, offers delightful confections at affordable prices. A portion of their earnings is reinvested in the community, and they are deeply engaged in local charitable initiatives. How charming!
Charles Wright (2025-05-13, 3:48 a.m.):
Just last year, I purchased a delightful box of white chocolate with nuts to show my appreciation towards a colleague at work. And would you believe it, not even thirty minutes ago, she was still singing its praises!
Now, to address Connie's previous review: are you honestly docking points for the supplier due to a mishap by the transporter? Seems a tad bit unfair, don't you think?
Janice Baker (2025-05-13, 12:35 a.m.):
I've had Peace by Chocolate on my radar since day one, and finally made the pilgrimage on August 12th. Let me tell you, I loaded up on chocolates galore and the ones I've tried so far are absolutely scrumptious. And let's not forget about their ice cream - it's a winner too. The backstory of this shop truly tugs at the heartstrings. Check out the snaps below of some of the goodies I snagged.
Raymond Coleman (2025-05-12, 1:20 p.m.):
We popped into the chocolate shop on Wednesday, 8th August. The sign said it was open, but there wasn't anyone in sight. We returned half an hour later, same story. Disappointed, we decided to give it another shot on Saturday, 11th August at the New Glasgow Market. The chocolates ended up being quite firm and had a rather cheap taste. They lacked the gourmet finesse I had hoped for; more akin to a lower-tier brand. Despite their stellar marketing and intriguing backstory, my honest recommendation would be Cabotto Chocolates along the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton. Their truffles are truly exceptional, far surpassing the experience at the previous shop.
