Exploring Targo: Internet Service Provider in Sainte-Clotilde-de-Châteauguay, Quebec

Targo has established itself as a prominent Internet service provider (ISP) in the small community of Sainte-Clotilde-de-Châteauguay, Quebec. With various opinions and experiences shared by its customers, let's dive deeper into what makes Targo stand out, particularly in terms of accessibility and service.

Accessibility Features at Targo

When it comes to accessibility, Targo appears committed to serving all its customers effectively. The company's facilities, including the wheelchair-accessible car park and wheelchair-accessible entrance, emphasize their dedication to ensuring everyone can access their services comfortably. This aspect of Targo's infrastructure is crucial, particularly for individuals with mobility challenges, who often find it difficult to navigate traditional service centers.

Customer Experiences with Targo

Targo's customer reviews range widely, reflecting both positive and cautionary tales. Many users have praised their swift installation process, particularly highlighting how fiber internet was installed the day after they called, often at half the price of competitors. Such quick and budget-friendly service is certainly a strong selling point for potential customers. On the other end of the spectrum, some customers raised concerns about what they consider price gouging and the lack of technical support, especially during evenings or weekends when outages occur. One reviewer stated that they had been paying significantly more than average, indicating that while Targo may offer competitive initial pricing, ongoing costs can escalate unexpectedly.

The Importance of Customer Service

Customer service is a critical aspect of any ISP. While many reviews commend Targo for their super friendly customer service, there are complaints regarding technical support for unresolved issues. Several customers noted difficulties in getting through to technical staff who could adequately address complex problems, such as connection stability and privacy concerns related to network management. One customer expressed dissatisfaction with the DMZ setup, stating that it posed potential risks, opting instead for a bridge mode feature which many ISPs offer. This suggests that while Targo is providing a basic internet service, there might be room for improvement in offering more sophisticated solutions that meet modern residential needs, especially as smart homes become more commonplace.

Conclusion: A Mixed Bag of Experiences

In summary, Targo serves as an essential Internet service provider in Sainte-Clotilde-de-Châteauguay, but customer experiences suggest a need for continued growth and adaptation. With a strong focus on accessibility and commendable customer service in some instances, Targo is striving to cater to its clientele. However, the variability in service quality and technical support underscores a challenge in maintaining consistency. If you're considering Targo as your ISP, it's wise to weigh both the positive feedback regarding quick installations and friendly service against the concerns raised by long-term customers regarding pricing and adequate technical response. Balancing these experiences will allow you to make an informed decision about your internet service needs.

This internet connection cable is absolutely dreadful, I must say. If you're an avid gamer like myself, steer clear or you'll be sorely disappointed. It's a constant battle with issues that seem to resurface mere days after they've supposedly been resolved. A frustrating experience, to say the least.
Joshua Kim (2025-06-13, 5:55 p.m.):
Targo is, without a doubt, the most pathetic wifi provider out there. They can't even manage to offer fiber optic connections to all the folks in Ste-Clotilde, even if their equipment and tower are smack dab in the middle of town. Absolute rubbish when it comes to wireless services.
Ava Nelson (2025-06-13, 12:38 a.m.):
I am absolutely chuffed with Targo's services. Ever since signing up for their plan, my internet connection has been proper stable and lightning fast, letting me crack on with work and browse without any bother. What truly makes this company stand out is its top-notch customer service: the team is right on the ball, attentive and always quick to sort out any issues. On top of that, being a local player, Targo offers a service with a personal touch that really sets them apart. It's a rare find these days to come across such a reliable and professional outfit. I can't recommend them highly enough! Cheers, a happy Customer on the Powerscourt climb.

Top-notch service, I must say. Sure, there are occasional interruptions from time to time, but they're quite rare, I'd say. The tech support folks are really patient and helpful. Been with them for more than a decade now, and the internet speed is impressive, I must admit.
Andrew Sanchez (2025-06-09, 11:15 a.m.):
I must say, I am absolutely chuffed with the top-notch service provided by Targo. This company truly values its customers. Serge was all ears and sprang into action right away to ensure all my requirements were met. Jolly good show! I wholeheartedly endorse this company.
Eric Hughes (2025-06-08, 1:05 p.m.):
We've been with Targo for quite a few years now. Really pleased with the service we've had up to this point. Our support team has consistently been courteous, efficient and helpful. Can't fault them much apart from occasional internet drop-outs, but that's par for the course, especially out here in the rural areas. Personally, I'd give Targo a thumbs up and recommend them without hesitation!!
Diane Nguyen (2025-06-07, 12:18 p.m.):
I wholeheartedly endorse Targo. I've been a customer since day one, and their service has consistently been top-notch!
Jose Russell (2025-06-05, 1:19 p.m.):
I signed up for Targo Internet Fiber. I must say, I am quite pleased with this provider. The installer was a real pro, quite impressive to observe at work. The connection is incredibly stable. Contacting them over the phone was a breeze, and what matters most to me is that I am supporting a local family business instead of a big multinational corporation that doesn't prioritize our community. I couldn't be happier.
Brittany Hughes (2025-06-04, 2:32 a.m.):
Thank you for providing such a reliable internet service. Do you have plans to expand your coverage to Haut-Richelieu? My family is quite dissatisfied with the services offered by IHR Telecom.
Victoria Russell (2025-06-02, 10:52 a.m.):
This internet service provider is absolutely dreadful. I would rather endure the unimaginable than continue using their services for another day.
Justin Gomez (2025-05-29, 12:19 p.m.):
Oi mate, the internet's gone pear-shaped 'round 'ere. Me neighbors 'ave the same problem but their connections are right as rain. Targo reckons I'll 'ave to wait till Monday. Cheers Targo, top work!
Nancy Gutierrez (2025-05-28, 5:47 p.m.):
Whilst the internet service itself is passable, their equipment leaves much to be desired and serves as a bottleneck. One may be paying for a 50mbps connection, yet their router only manages to output 25mbps even when positioned less than 3 feet away. Regrettably, they do not offer any solutions to improve this situation and have the audacity to charge an additional $10 per month, plus tax.
Jordan White (2025-05-28, 4:29 p.m.):
My kill/death ratio on Call of Duty has been significantly impacted by the subpar quality of your 90s era internet service.
Albert Foster (2025-05-28, 1:06 p.m.):
I'm updating my rating to 5 stars after experiencing top-notch customer service and excellent installation services from this provider. I am thoroughly satisfied and thankful for the outstanding service.

It will take some time to complete the installation as I am currently at Lac de Pins campsite, but it is scheduled for the end of August or early September. Looking forward to enjoying a two-week stay there later on. 😜

Well, I must say that dealing with some Internet service providers can sometimes feel even more challenging than navigating through the Covid-19 pandemic. The frustration of dealing with constant connectivity issues and slow speeds can really test your patience. It's important to choose a reliable ISP that can provide a seamless online experience to avoid any unnecessary stress.
Ryan Gray (2025-05-23, 10:45 a.m.):
I strongly recommend the exceptional customer service tailored to the customer that I had the pleasure of interacting with. Ariane was excellent in assisting her customers, especially for small rural towns that may not have many options for internet and television services. Targo offers fiber internet, so I am delighted to join the Targo team. I reiterate, for small country villages and even larger towns, Targo is the ideal choice. Thank you very much, Ariane, for your professionalism.
Charles Gray (2025-05-23, 12:33 a.m.):
I am truly delighted with this internet service ever since they upgraded my modem! Additionally, exceptional assistance provided by President Louis-Paul!! Many thanks!
Thomas Ortiz (2025-05-22, 11:57 p.m.):
Awful service thus far.. they confirmed a rate of 35$ for 25 Mbps in our agreement over the phone and my bill has more than doubled, not to mention at least 15$ in undisclosed charges for renting the equipment which they failed to mention in the agreement.
Roger Phillips (2025-05-17, 11:24 p.m.):
A firm that be chargin' a hefty fee for the meager service they offer - a measly 0.5 megabits per second for a whopping $120, when folks in the city or suburb pay only $60 for 1 gigabit (that be 1000 megabits) download speed and 50 megabits upload speed. It be absolutely ludicrous, mate! The service be way too sluggish! We demand 50 megabits for both download and upload speeds!
Brittany Myers (2025-05-14, 3:00 a.m.):
I must say, I've never encountered such a peculiar situation where the support hotline is inaccessible and services are unavailable after 4 pm on weekends. Our internet connectivity is at a standstill, leaving us stranded with no means of resolution.

For those who possess the luxury of choosing a different provider, I would highly advocate for exploring that option. The unreliability of their internet connection, which frequently crashes, coupled with my subscription for 1 gig per second that merely fetches between 600 to 750 MB per second, leaves much to be desired.

My candid advice would be to consider alternatives unless you find yourself devoid of options.
