I drove a good 30 minutes to Biggar to grab some subs for dinner. The folks there were a bit on the rude side. I was trying to explain what I wanted, and then this other lady starts jabbering away in some other language with a scowl on her face. The lettuce was all squishy and brown. Drove all the way back home to tuck into our sandwiches, only to find the bread was hard and had a strange taste. Can't say I'd recommend it, mate.

This lone ranger had to juggle taking our orders, whipping up our sarnies, and handling the till - all without swapping gloves once! With the place buzzing and just the one server, we found ourselves twiddling our thumbs for a good 20 to 25 minutes. As a result, the tables were looking a bit worse for wear. I must give kudos to the staff member who was doing their level best to keep things ticking along. But I daresay, this ain't the spot for a quick lunchtime bite or a swift in-and-out job on your break. Subway, please consider bolstering your team during the lunch rush. Cheers!
