I must say, this was the most dreadful service encounter I've ever had. No callbacks, a truly appalling attitude (extremely arrogant) ... I was drawn here by the reviews, but I should have given the latest one a good look. There must have been some changes. I think it's time to return to HR ... after all, at least they value my business.

We handed in our tax paperwork the first week of April and were informed that it might not be ready by the deadline. We were taken aback by this news, considering our forms were straightforward and we had been using this service for a few years now. The staff seemed stressed and disorganized. Surprisingly, they were more organized during the pandemic when they only accepted drop-offs for some reason.
Despite our concerns, we decided to leave our forms and take a chance. To our dismay, one week passed, then two weeks into May, we attempted to contact them through calls, messages, and emails, but received no response.
Finally, we managed to reach someone at the front desk who was quite rude to us. It turns out that a "trusted employee" had taken our file home to work on our taxes. As someone who has experienced tax fraud before, this was completely unacceptable, and we had not authorized this action. Entrusting our personal information to someone else was not a risk we were willing to take.
When we confronted them about this, they downplayed the situation. As a result, we have decided not to return to this establishment. Their unprofessionalism is appalling, and they should be held accountable for their actions.

Just this year, we submitted our tax returns on March 25, 2024. I've been following up via email multiple times to inquire about the completion date, but haven't received any replies whatsoever. However, it took four emails just to get that simple reply, which is quite frustrating. I also sent two emails this week asking for an estimated completion date, but still haven't heard back. I'm seriously considering switching tax preparation services after this experience. They were great in the past, but it seems like their service has gone downhill.
