So, they cancelled my reservation and still charged me the reservation fee. I wouldn't recommend this company. They seem to be all about charging you as much as they can, even if you can't actually get your car from them.

The chaps on the team were quite friendly, but the guv'nor was a bit brusque and not much help, I must say. Quite surprised that the Banff Springs Hotel would be affiliated with a service that hires folks with such subpar customer service skills, old chap.

Absolute rubbish service, I must say! Can't believe how awful the customer service was. We simply inquired about the car and the chap just started shouting, went all red-faced, and even began throwing pens, can you imagine? And when I asked to speak to his manager, he had the nerve to declare, "I am the company." Blimey, I was completely flabbergasted that such a thing could actually occur. I definitely wouldn't suggest this company to anyone.

Just a quick review on the blond fella with a wee beard and spectacles.

Let me tell ya, this bloke is a proper joke. I witnessed two ladies before me storm out of the agency muttering about finding help elsewhere. I thought to meself, "Perhaps the lad just can't lend a hand, it's not entirely his fault."

When it was finally my turn, everything seemed peachy until I approached the car. I politely asked him to mark down a few scratches on the top of the boot as I planned to return the vehicle to a different agency and didn't fancy being charged for them. His response? "Oh, those are just rock chips," he said. I insisted they were scratches, not rock chips, but he persisted, claiming he had inspected the car personally and they were indeed rock chips. I pointed out that while there may be rock chips at the bottom, the ones on top were different. Could he please make a note of it for the other agency's sake? But nope, he refused, insisting they were rock chips and that all Hertz agents use the same method. He marked down the supposed rock chips on the inspection paper, much to my dismay.

Isn't the whole point of an inspection to be thorough, mate? It's meant to be a joint effort between the seller and the customer. Trust goes both ways. If not, then what's the point of inspecting the car or purchasing insurance? You were downright rude and have no place in customer service. I work in the service industry, and I always treat customers with respect, even when they're mistaken. And in this case, mate, YOU were in the wrong. Man up and own it.

And another thing, your hours are all topsy-turvy. The sign says 8 AM to 4 PM, but we turned up at 11:38 and there was a notice saying you'd be back at 12:30. Looks to me like you're swindling an hour from your employers, doesn't it?

I 'ad to cancel me reservation on the same day I made it because o' the wildfire in Jasper National Park, an' there were no charges incurred. The staff were ever so friendly, they even printed out a confirmation o' the cancellation for us without any hassle. I highly recommend this establishment. Cheers!

I must say, the chap with the grey hair was a right piece of work, to put it mildly. He truly put a damper on our trip! We had popped by the counter a few weeks back to make a reservation, and he quoted us a price inclusive of insurance. Fast forward to today when we went to collect our car, and he springs a higher price on us. Naturally, we were taken aback and sought clarification. The bloke's response was beyond rude - "No cars left, either cancel or start walking," he barks. As if that wasn't enough, he accused us and our mate of pestering him with repeated questions (even though we had only visited once to confirm our booking). To top it off, he flat out refused to answer any further queries. Absolutely dreadful experience - we used to be fans of Hertz, but this has left us severely disappointed!
