Regrettably, those chaps turned out to be rather dodgy scammers. Recently, I happened to acquire a pre-owned laptop from their establishment. Initially, I thought it appeared decent and not too antiquated, although the gentleman in the shop claimed he couldn't (or rather, wouldn't, as I now understand) disclose the machine's age. Upon showing it to my IT expert (whom I've been consulting for nearly two decades), he was utterly flabbergasted and appalled by the exorbitant price I had paid (he appraised the device at $175-$250, yet Burrard Laptops charged me a whopping $575). It turns out the laptop is over a decade old and is unlikely to endure much longer. The store had installed Windows 10 on the device, albeit incompletely, with 8 drivers absent. Avoid shopping here unless you fancy being swindled.

If you 'ave the time and patience, this establishment is rather decent. They do respond promptly, all the blokes and birds on staff are quite pleasant, and the job they did was top-notch.
Nonetheless, they hardly ever follow up or ring you back - you 'ave to chase 'em down each time. Plus, they 'ad a go at fixin' a laptop fan that clearly needed replacin', and it gave out again in 12 hours; they eventually swapped it out for free under their warranty terms which is grand, but I still 'ad to make a second trip to the shop to drop off and collect me laptop.
