Had a splendid dining experience at Etc. The terrace was simply charming, the service was attentive, and all the dishes were top-notch: the squid starter was beautifully prepared, the seafood platter was generous and the scallops were cooked to perfection, the tempura beef and shrimp dish was succulent. The dessert with maple ice cream was absolutely heavenly. It was truly a delightful and enjoyable evening.

I made a reservation on Tuesday for 1 table for 2 people, requesting a table near the window for our wedding anniversary. After driving two hours, we arrived at the restaurant on time only to find out there was no table reserved for us. I spoke to the man who greeted us, and with a puzzled expression, he checked his list and informed me that there was no availability. Instead, he directed another couple behind us to a table on the terrace, which wasn't ideal as it was quite chilly that evening. Feeling disappointed, we decided to dine elsewhere.
Two hours later, as we passed by the restaurant again, I saw the receptionist warmly welcoming a group of guests with a big smile. It seemed that he chose who to prioritize in seating. I suspect he might be one of the owners. I have no intention of returning to this establishment. On the contrary, we had a fantastic experience at Mistral. Despite the busy staff and bustling atmosphere, we were seated near a window, had a delicious meal, and were treated with warmth and respect even without a reservation. I would rather pay for good service and be greeted by a friendly face than leave my money at a place like Etcetera.
