Top-notch diner, scrumptious burgers, and genuinely authentic wood-fired pizza that's going to linger in your memories for a while. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming. Just a heads up, you might have to be a tad patient for a table as this place is buzzing for all the right reasons!

If ya find yourself in the Valley craving a top-notch burger or poutine and some divine soft-serve ice cream, Jonny's is your spot! I'm all about Jonny's and can't wait to tuck into their grub and icy treats. Never had a bad meal or experience there, the staff are always so welcoming and the atmosphere is just right!

Absolutely smashing burgers!!!! We'll definitely swing by again when we're in the area 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Popped in for some ice cream this time. Their soft ice cream is top-notch, one of the very best in Nova Scotia. They offer caramel sundaes that I haven't come across anywhere else, and let me tell you, they are absolutely scrumptious!!!
Peter Rivera (2025-09-06, 10:57 a.m.):
The food is absolutely amazing, and the portions are massive! Hands down the best poutine in the Annapolis Valley. And you've got to give the garlic finger burger a try, it's simply out of this world!

Just devoured a double cheeseburger with fries from this place. Honestly, they could totally up their prices and I’d still be down for it, the food is just that good. I swear it’s one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted. And those beer batter fries? Mate, they’re banging! The person at the counter taking orders was so lively and friendly. Didn’t dine in but had a peek inside and the decor gave me serious old-school diner vibes, really clean too. If you find yourself nearby, this spot is a definite must-visit. Heck, even if you’re not close by, it’s worth making the trip for. Cheers!

Jonny's is incredible! The burgers, onion rings, and milkshakes are top-notch. The freshness and flavor are unbeatable. The servings are massive, you won't leave hungry!

This joint is buzzing with activity all the time. When you place an order, they assign you a pickup time, and without fail, my order is always good to go on time. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Their assortment of hard ice cream is unparalleled, and the soft serve is simply divine. You absolutely must sample their "drumsticks" if you're in the mood for a lunchtime ice cream treat!

Food 5/5
Staff 5/5
Cleanliness 5/5
Location... 3/5... it's in the middle of nowhere. But in a way, it adds to its charm.

Perhaps my favorite eatery in Nova Scotia. The food is consistently mind-blowing.

I'm grateful I don't reside closer. I'd be rolling rather than strolling.

Probably the finest burgers I've ever savored.
Grace Ortiz (2025-08-24, 6:05 p.m.):
Outstanding grub. Burgers are cooked to perfection and adorned with imaginative toppings. The fries are top-notch, and the poutines are simply indulgent. A wide array of ice cream choices available too. Definitely worth making the journey from HRM.
Dorothy James (2025-08-24, 2:16 a.m.):
Oh, what a scrumptious meal! I will absolutely be returning and will highly recommend it to others.
David Cruz (2025-08-24, 12:17 a.m.):
I popped in for one of their homemade drumsticks and I must say it was absolutely smashing! Followed it up with a chocolate milkshake and it was just as brilliant. Top-notch stuff, highly recommend!
Patricia Ross (2025-08-22, 12:03 a.m.):
Had the most delightful time at this spot. This afternoon, I savored the donair garlic finger burger - a crispy mozza fried patty oozing with gooey cheese, while my GF enjoyed the impeccably seasoned fish n chips. The batter was perfectly crispy, not too heavy. On our journey back to The Passage later on, we indulged in a PB milkshake (absolutely divine) and my GF opted for the handspun vanilla milkshake, which we suspect is made in-house, as it was one of the finest vanilla soft serves we've ever tasted, rivaling even Leonidas in Dartmouth.

The staff, without fail (based on our experiences), are always beaming and amiable until the very last minutes of the evening. This establishment operates seasonally, typically staying open until October, sometimes even longer due to its popularity for its exceptional food and service. I can't wait to relish the fish & chips or perhaps one of the poutines on my next visit, along with the heavenly vanilla soft serve my GF enjoyed. We're eager to return for another visit before they close for the season.

We most certainly plan on making a return trip before then.
Louis Fisher (2025-08-21, 7:18 p.m.):
The prices are very reasonable, and the food is exceptional. They also have a great variety of ice cream at very affordable prices as well.
Nancy Jordan (2025-08-21, 5:13 a.m.):
The grub is top-notch, mate! The burgers are boss, with some unique twists that'll tickle your taste buds. They've got a cracking selection of poutines and grilled sammies. It's always rammed, so be prepared to wait a bit, but the staff are dead friendly and on the ball. The servings are proper generous, I usually can't scoff down a burger and chips in one go. Tastes spot on even when you reheat it. Cheers!
Gabriel Reed (2025-08-20, 6:29 a.m.):
Absolutely worth the stop if you're passing through and not familiar with the area. It may cost a tad more than your average burger joint, but I'm pleased I brought the family along as we thoroughly savored our dishes.
Evelyn Cox (2025-08-19, 10:42 p.m.):
Many of them big chain fast-food joints be offerin' lil' portions at higher prices and lower quality. But let me tell ya 'bout Jonny's! This spot is a solid 10/10 every time I swing by, mate. The grub quality, portion sizes, and staff are top-notch. Definitely worth makin' the trip from Fall River. 👍
Sean Allen (2025-08-15, 6:32 a.m.):
Honestly, I would love to give a higher rating, but I just can't justify it anymore. Every burger I order here ends up overcooked and sometimes dry. I understand they need to follow food regulations for cooking beef, but they seem to take it to an extreme. This has been consistent over the past 12 years of living in this area.

The French fry portions, which used to be a highlight, have now been significantly reduced in size. Additionally, the cost of these fries has been increased disproportionately compared to the market inflation. It's quite disappointing, considering the price of potatoes hasn't changed much due to inflation.

I once called in a takeout order, picked up the food, and was shocked to find only a small portion of fries along with my overly dry burger. When I called to inquire about the portion sizes, the server abruptly hung up on me mid-sentence. I wasn't being confrontational or upset, just questioning the changes.

Since then, I have only eaten here once. It's a pity because I used to bring my family here once or twice a month when they were open for business. The average wait time for food remains the same, around 20-25 minutes, which is a bit disappointing, but I understand they are always very busy.
Chloe Myers (2025-08-13, 12:11 a.m.):
This spot is a real gem for grabbing a bite to eat. The deep fried pickles were absolutely top-notch. Mum and Dad went for the burgers and were over the moon with them. The fries were solid, and don't even get me started on the milkshakes - they were fantastic. This was our second visit, and we'll definitely be back for more!
Randy Perry (2025-08-11, 4:38 a.m.):
Feeling proper chuffed, I've never had grub as top-notch as this before, absolute bargain for your dosh. The portion sizes are massive, I tell ya!
Jonathan Fisher (2025-08-09, 3:51 p.m.):
Every time we head down to the valley, we just have to swing by Jonny's. The Sweet Maria and Garlic Finger Burger are absolute must-haves! Such a fantastic spot and it's totally family-friendly too!
Jordan Miller (2025-08-09, 11:21 a.m.):
The staff over there are really friendly and accommodating, you know. My only little gripe is that the fish could've done with a couple of minutes to rest, as the batter was a bit oily. But hey, it's understandable, innit? The place is always rammed and they're trying to keep everyone happy with their orders. Gotta give 'em credit for that, mate. You get a massive portion for what you pay, so it's well worth it. It's one of our top choices for takeout, no doubt. Keep up the great work, everyone, and we'll definitely be back soon, yeah? Cheers!
