I had a terrible experience with this tree service company in Abitibi. The employees were very unprofessional and rude when they came to do a job for us. Instead of trimming the trees properly, they ended up cutting them halfway up the trunk, way too close to the high voltage lines. They ended up damaging two trees beyond repair before I intervened and stopped them. To make matters worse, they left without cleaning up the mess or fixing the damage they caused. Half of the trees they cut fell onto the cables of neighboring companies. It was a disaster from start to finish.

As a businesswoman, my travels often take me away from Quebec. Recently, I was away for a two-week stretch. Upon my return, I was dismayed to find the padlock on the entrance gate to my property broken. My initial thought was of vandalism or theft. As I made my way down the wooded path towards my home, I noticed numerous trees had been cut, with branches strewn about. The scene at my home was disheartening - tire tracks on the lawn, trampled flowers, crushed shrubs, and two fully felled trees, only their trunks remaining.
Upon reviewing my security cameras, it became clear that Beauce Arboriculture had entered my private property. After contacting them, I was directed to a gentleman named Mathieu Bellerose. His demeanor on the phone was arrogant as he explained that they had been authorized by Hydro Quebec to remove the trees that were interfering with power lines on my land. When questioned about the broken padlock and damage to my property, he claimed they had tried to reach me but proceeded with the work in the absence of a response, citing their authorization from Hydro Quebec as justification for entering without permission.
Such a flagrant display of disrespect is truly disappointing.

The trimming itself went smoothly. The crew was quick and efficient, and they gathered the wood from the tree trunk.
However, we were not informed of the day the team would arrive. We were able to deduce the timing based on a power outage notice from Hydro-Québec that was focused on our property.
Additionally, they left the debris from the stump removal on our premises. When we called, we were informed that this is standard practice for stump removal, even though the initial estimate stated that all wood would be cleared away. It's possible we misunderstood, and these remnants may not be classified as wood. Still, it wouldn't have been too difficult for them to tidy up better.

Absolutely splendid service! I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the chaps who came 'round to chop and haul away 5 dead ash trees from my yard in the West Island of Montreal.
The crew was ever so polite and got the job done swiftly and skillfully. They took care to lay down protective covering over my lawn for their gear to drive on, tidied up impeccably after themselves, and when they bid adieu, the only clue they'd been there was the absence of the dead ash trees.
The following day, a lorry swung by to scoop up the larger stumps left neatly stacked by the felling crew. You can imagine my surprise when, after using a boom arm to collect the stumps, the driver fetched his rake and proceeded to tidy up all the little bits and bobs left behind!
The entire crew worked daintily, efficiently, and cleanly. My yard was left exactly as they discovered it!
And to top it off, this company offered the most competitive price out of all those I inquired with!

They took down the tree smoothly, not a single scratch on anything, and the price they charged was fair even with those two challenges (the power line and hedge). They are Hydro-Québec accredited and a proud member of the Société Internationale Arboriculture Québec Inc.

Absolutely dreadful and completely unprofessional. The lack of punctuality in delivering the 'no parking' signs in Montreal resulted in half the street receiving tickets and having their vehicles towed. It is simply outrageous to put up these signs on the same morning the work is scheduled to begin! Moreover, their complaints about not being able to commence work due to the cars being towed is unacceptable. They are solely responsible for failing to inform the residents and neighbors in advance, leading to unnecessary fines and towing expenses. Despite all the vehicles being removed, they have yet to begin the actual work hours later... What a preposterous situation.
