Absolutely marvelous, darling! Top-notch coffee (a rare find in Canada) and scrumptious eats (definitely not your run-of-the-mill chain). Cheers to that!

The Art of Eating exudes a delightful atmosphere, staffed by friendly individuals, and offers scrumptious food and beverages! Their lattes are particularly superb.

The food is absolutely scrumptious and a real treat. I tried the quiche and the house salad, both were absolutely delicious. And let me tell you about those peanut butter chocolate chip cookies - they are absolutely heavenly, perhaps the best I've ever had! (I genuinely wish I had bought more, haha.) The owner was delightful and so kind, she even whipped up some fresh Nova Scotia oat cakes for me to try, which I had been eager to taste. (They were just as delicious as I had hoped - thank you once again!!) But if you fancy any of her delectable treats, make sure to place your order in advance to avoid missing out :). It's definitely worth the trip, no matter where you're coming from or going to, as it's conveniently located close to both Moncton and PEI. If I could, I would give this place 10 stars - highly recommended!

A definite must-visit! I have quite a few dietary restrictions, yet this is the sole spot where I never encounter any problems post-meal... The cuisine is both fresh and delightful. The staff is exceptionally wonderful and the ambiance is just right ❤️ I consistently strive to visit Amherst from Monday to Friday solely to indulge in their delectable treats 🤤👍💃🏼

I cannot wait to return! The cuisine is simply divine – fresh, innovative, and reasonably priced. The staff is incredibly welcoming. Without a doubt, one of the finest lunch spots in Amherst.

Christian Moore (2025-04-06, 8:11 a.m.):
This spot is absolutely splendid, should've given it a shoutout earlier as I've been grabbing lunch and indulging in treats once or twice a week all summer long. The prices of the food are quite reasonable and the serving sizes are just right. You definitely need to sample the Mint OMG brownies, if there are any left after I've practically bought them all.
Mary Howard (2025-04-06, 6:36 a.m.):

I would usually pop into the downtown Timmy's while visiting relatives in Amherst. But now that it's closed, I decided to stroll a bit further down Victoria Street and stumbled upon the Art of Eating. The coffee and food are top-notch, and I really savored sitting at one of the tables outside the cafe admiring the architecture of Amherst.
Amber Thompson (2025-04-03, 12:59 a.m.):
We stumbled upon The Art of Eating cafe. What a discovery! I indulged in the haddock fish cakes with delectable baked beans, salad, and homemade brown bread that simply melted in my mouth. My partner opted for the Montreal smoked meat sandwich and salad. Later on, we revisited to do some work upstairs and savored coffee and dessert. The staff is incredibly welcoming. We will definitely revisit and wholeheartedly recommend.
Douglas Russell (2025-04-03, 12:10 a.m.):
Lovely spot, scrumptious grub, incredibly welcoming crew! All top-notch fresh. And if you've got a pooch, there's a few tables outside with a splendid view of Victoria Street.

Authentic food and authentic coffee. Take the extra 5 minutes off the highway and you won't regret it.
