Fantastic service despite short staff, vaccination passport checks for everyone. Delicious food at a fair price.

The worst Ben and Florentine experience I've ever had! They don't deserve their star. Firstly, the service was dreadful. My mother and I requested a booth, most of which were vacant, but the waitress refused. Later, when we were finally seated, she didn't even ask us for drinks, she just left and returned fifteen minutes later to take our order... We felt neglected. She snatched my menu away before I could decide, and it was only in English... I couldn't even inquire about my chosen dish as she had already vanished. We weren't informed about the daily specials; I overheard them from the customers behind me who arrived at the end of my meal. During the meal, my mother couldn't get cream for her oatmeal (she suggested using the cream or milk from the bowl instead), nor any additional brown sugar (despite it being available elsewhere). The toast and the rest of the food were cold and inedible... and the portion sizes were abysmal! The waitress visited twice: once after I tried to get her attention (as she had disappeared for a long time) because my mother hadn't had a drink in ages, and then to request payment. I have no idea where she was all this time or why the chef was wandering around the restaurant... Lastly, when the waitress disappeared during the meal, my mother tried to ask another server for a hot plate, but she completely ignored her. It's worth mentioning that there were hardly any other diners in the restaurant (7 occupied tables).

All in all, this was our dining experience. I've never been so poorly served in a restaurant in my life. This will definitely be my last visit to this establishment.

Just indulged in some breakfast fare at this establishment once more, amicable staff and typically satisfactory cuisine; however, today was a bit of an outlier with raw bacon and overcooked eggs. As noted by others, service can be a tad sluggish at this locale (presumably due to staffing shortages impacting most eateries in the vicinity) – there's even a sign upon entry forewarning of potential delays. While there seems to be an ample amount of servers, the kitchen team appears to move at a slower pace compared to other breakfast spots.

Can't quite pinpoint if it's due to frequenting Allo Mon Coco as of late, but the serving sizes at B&F certainly seem smaller, and today's experience left much to be desired. The one constant I do enjoy at B&F is their choice of rye bread – consistently fresh, appropriately sized, and boasting a delightful texture.
Jack Stewart (2025-04-13, 6:09 a.m.):
The service was not satisfactory, upon our arrival for the reservation we received a nonsensical response.
Carl Hill (2025-04-13, 3:13 a.m.):
Top notch restaurant! The only downside was the server who seldom checked in on us and neglected to attend to my dining companion. (inquire about her beverage preference, if her meal is satisfactory, etc.)
