The medical treatment itself was decent, and the meals and nurses were quite friendly. Nevertheless, the administrative process was rather lacking. I had to provide extensive medical records and fee documents to the insurance company, only for them to claim they lacked certain details and that the documents they possessed were sufficient. When I initiated a claim, I was notified of insufficient documentation. They mentioned that, due to concerns about insurance fraud, they could only proceed with payment if the fee particulars were expressly listed. After numerous complexities, I eventually made the request, but they indicated it would take a month to process. A perplexing administrative system indeed. While it may be cost-free for their citizens, one shouldn't anticipate a system akin to that of Korea's. A completely different ball game.

The folks here are just lovely, and the care is top-notch. If you find yourself unwell while visiting Banff, this is the place to go!
Sophia Phillips (2025-07-24, 6:43 a.m.):
Absolutely thrilled with the care I received today at Banff Mineral Spring Hospital - huge shoutout to everyone on the team, from the moment I checked in until I departed, I felt incredibly well taken care of. A massive thank you to Dr. Greg Buchko and his amazing team for their exceptional treatment - astonishingly, I was up and about with crutches just 5 hours post my ACL knee surgery! Now, a mere 12 hours later, my knee feels fantastic with minimal discomfort, rating less than one on a scale of 1 to 10. 😄

Somehow, they do a remarkable job at being the most dreadful emergency department I have ever visited, and mind you, I come from a developing country. Surprisingly quiet, yet they insist on making you wait for what feels like an eternity – last visit entailed a 6-hour wait only to be advised to simply take a pain reliever. Today, my girlfriend experienced food poisoning, and despite our hours-long wait, we were promptly sent back home with reassurance from the doctor that everything will be fine as there are a couple of viruses making the rounds.
Alice Scott (2025-07-20, 5:08 p.m.):
Absolutely fantastic establishment with an exceptional team. I underwent day surgery and was well taken care of from registration to release. I wholeheartedly recommend this Hospital.
Donald Reed (2025-07-20, 6:52 a.m.):
I do apologize for the incredibly lengthy wait for blood tests and the whole shebang just to be informed that it’s muscle pain which should resolve itself in 5 days. We’re currently still here, 20 minutes past requesting crutches, observing as the nurses are all chatting and giggling amongst themselves. They're quite friendly, I must say, but the wait to receive no substantial information has been rather challenging.
Cheryl Powell (2025-07-18, 11:52 a.m.):
During a sudden emergency, we found ourselves at this hospital on the 17th of September, 2022. This has been one of the finest hospitals I have visited thus far in Canada. The entire staff, from the screening personnel, front desk attendants, nurses, and doctors, were exceptional. They were incredibly welcoming and supportive. The staff demonstrated great understanding and empathy towards our situation, going above and beyond to assist us during a challenging time.

While long wait times are a common issue in many hospitals, there was a short wait here as well. However, the staff provided us with reassurance that the wait wouldn't be too lengthy and gave us estimated timeframes for when we could expect to see the doctor. This was greatly appreciated, as they acknowledged our challenging circumstances and exhibited a willingness to help us in the best way possible.

In addition to the doctors and nurses, I must extend special thanks to the screening personnel and front desk registration staff for their invaluable assistance to my family. The entire team is friendly, caring, polite, and genuinely helpful.

I would like to express my gratitude once again to all the staff at this hospital.
Mark Reyes (2025-07-16, 9:21 p.m.):
Big shoutout to Lindsay at Mineral Springs Hospital. I arrived in an emergency situation and both times I had visited before the doctor saw me, she showed me so much kindness and warmth, making me feel safe and comfortable. She is truly outstanding at her job, and I want her to know how grateful I was for her.
Roy Reyes (2025-07-12, 11:13 p.m.):
My time in the hospital was absolutely brilliant. Big thanks to all the wonderful staff members.
Paul Kim (2025-07-08, 10:13 p.m.):
The folks were pleasant, but when me old man dislocated 'is shoulder, the ski patrol popped it back in. We popped into the hospital to check if it was broken. Blimey, they charged us $1200 USD for a sling and an X-ray. Utter highway robbery! Avoid this place if you're not a local. Best to get non-urgent treatment in yer own country. I was certain the USA had the crown for pricey healthcare, but I've been proven very, very wrong.
Debra Morales (2025-07-08, 1:31 a.m.):
I have never felt so embarrassed when visiting a hospital. I came in to be assessed for strep throat and the doctor dismissed me without conducting a swab test. He said I was wasting everyone's time. Can you believe it? Additionally, I waited for 1.5 hours even though there were hardly any other patients present, all for a procedure that could have taken just 5 seconds. As someone who works in the service industry, I am obligated by law to prevent spreading illnesses to others. I value safety over everything else. Much appreciation to the doctor who showed me compassion during this experience.
Sarah Kim (2025-07-05, 5:18 a.m.):
I was actually born in this hospital.
Olivia Foster (2025-07-04, 5:59 a.m.):
Outstanding experience for a modest-sized hospital, I was a bit skeptical about the waiting times but they managed to see me promptly, they were incredibly supportive, and I genuinely believe these folks should receive commendation, every member of the team from the nurses, to the administrative staff, to the doctor, were all exceptional.
Nancy Graham (2025-07-03, 11:25 p.m.):
I recently had to accompany a mate to this hospital and I must say, the experience was rather interesting. The security guard, who appears to possess quite a formidable presence, informed me that it is common for mice to scurry from one room to another in a rural hospital setting. Furthermore, he spoke to me as if I were a child in elementary school. It struck me as quite amusing that a security guard would interact with me in such a condescending manner.
Philip Taylor (2025-07-01, 8:40 p.m.):
The physicians, personnel, and surgeons at this hospital are absolutely top-notch. I sustained a tib/fib fracture in 2022 and they provided exceptional care for me!!

Many thanks!!
Roger Hamilton (2025-06-26, 7:22 p.m.):
My experience on a Sunday morning was absolutely splendid. The cleanliness, efficiency, and professionalism were top-notch.
Grace Lopez (2025-06-24, 6:51 a.m.):
I recently had to undergo surgery at the Banff hospital and I must say, the staff there are truly incredible. Their hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed. I am so grateful for all their support during my time there. Thank you again to the amazing staff at the Banff hospital!
Harper Sanchez (2025-06-23, 7:18 p.m.):
Lab Services are absolutely top-notch. A delightful experience every time, consistently punctual or even ahead of schedule. It's one of the few appointments you can squeeze in during a work break and be confident that the timing will be spot on. A fantastic amenity to have in our quaint little town.
David Howard (2025-06-21, 10:23 p.m.):
My elderly mother-in-law, 89 years young, with severe leg pain, was made to wait for hours while younger patients, even crying ones, were seen before her. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hospital if at all possible.
Kenneth Fisher (2025-06-19, 12:52 p.m.):
The staff were terribly rude and abrupt. There were drops of blood on the floor beside the bed. I suggest looking for care elsewhere.
