Oh my goodness, this restaurant in Bancroft is an absolute gem! The food was simply divine. My partner savored the fish and chips while I indulged in a juicy burger steak. Everything was incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and the portions were just right. And let's not forget about the fries - perfectly cooked to crispy perfection.
For dessert, we treated ourselves to some French toast stuffed with cream cheese and topped with fruit. It was truly a taste sensation beyond words 🥰

My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town, and after reading all the fantastic reviews, we were really looking forward to experiencing this restaurant for the first time.
As soon as we walked in, we could see the place was bustling. Not a problem! We don't mind waiting or even considering a takeaway option, we were simply hoping for a romantic date night out.
However, after just 30 seconds of standing there, we were bluntly informed, "We are full until 7," without any suggestion of takeout or the possibility of making a reservation for another day. The staff member just delivered that sentence and then walked away.
The lack of customer service left us quite disappointed. I doubt we will be attempting to dine here again.

We were put onto Eagles Nest Restaurant by a local since we are new to the area. They highly recommended it, praising the food as homemade and delicious, and now we can confirm that. We opted for takeout - a maple bacon burger, onion rings, and a BLT with crunchy battered fries. The burger was top-notch, not overly seasoned so you could savor the taste of the beef and the soft bun, and they followed my special no condiments request perfectly. My husband couldn't stop raving about their BLT, even though it's a simple sandwich, he absolutely adored it. Everything was so flavorful that we can't wait to return and try more dishes from their menu.
From the exterior, you wouldn't expect much, but inside it's a hidden gem - cozy, clean, and inviting. There's parking in the back where the entrance is located.

Today we went for lunch at this spot. I asked for a toasted western on brown bread, but when my order arrived it was on Rye instead. It was a bit of a letdown, but it still had good flavor. The youthful waitress should make sure to dress properly and get her Smartserve certification.

It has been a year since the last review, high time for an update! Oh my goodness, Kee is absolutely fantastic in the kitchen. Without a doubt, the best restaurant in town. The cheeseburgers are unparalleled, simply the best ever. There isn't a single item on this menu that I haven't enjoyed, and I have never had to send an order back! I truly believe they offer the best prices in town, you will not be disappointed. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so I recommend getting there early. Be sure to check their Facebook page for any specials. A+ experience all around!

Our first time at this restaurant and it certainly won't be our last! My meal was brought out to my car, piping hot and fresh! It was absolutely delicious! I ordered the roasted chicken with loaded fries and let me tell you, it was fantastic! The chicken was a bit larger than the bun, which made it a bit messy to eat, but that's my only small criticism and it wasn't really an issue. I am thrilled with the experience! My husband went for the hot beef and he was just as happy with his meal! We arrived close to closing time and decided to dine in the parking lot since they closed before we finished. I couldn't go back in to thank the chef, but I really wanted to! Fantastic job!! We'll definitely be returning next time we're in Bancroft!
