I have to amend my review from 5 stars four years ago to a measly 1 star - it ought to be zero! After my recent visit to the post office on September 23, 2022 to renew my PO box, as a senior citizen with respiratory issues, I encountered numerous problems. However, the pinnacle of frustration came when a postal worker instructed me to go to my bank and get them to print out my address as proof, despite having official mail from Service Canada. I was absolutely livid when I witnessed another customer easily confirming their address by showing a photo of their paycheck on their phone. There seems to be no point in lodging a complaint with Canada Post, and I sorely miss the former staff members who were much more competent.

If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. A mistake made by the shipper led to an incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate experience during my visit to the post office. I was verbally harassed and publicly embarrassed for not having the correct name on the package. The performance that the young blonde attendant put on was shocking and she should be dismissed. Furthermore, there was a heated argument about me involving the two blonde women with short hair, and even the older woman joined in without any reason, behaving like a bully. Their lack of respect and nonsensical behavior was simply unbelievable. The only positive aspect was the two kind gentlemen who handled the situation calmly, professionally, and responsibly. The manager provided me with his personal email, asked for a detailed account of the incident, and apologized on behalf of the staff. I have never witnessed such behavior before – it is disheartening to see individuals in customer service lose their composure and act in such a childish manner. There seems to be some issues behind the scenes that need addressing, and it may be time for those two ladies to consider retiring. If those individuals happen to see me coming in for my mail, please stay away.
